Mike is our patriarch and founder of Southern City Flavors (over 20 years ago). He has always been the happiest when cooking for friends and family, no matter if it is in the kitchen, at the grill or at his smoker. There is nothing more rewarding to him than to see his family and friends gathered in the kitchen, around the grill or at the table enjoying good food, great conversation—to him that is real love.

Rachael is a UT Alumna (Go Vols!) with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She moved around the East Coast after graduating from college before she found her way back to her home state of good ‘ole Tennessee. She’s always helped out the family business but is excited to now be working full time to assist in overall business processes and creating a more efficient workplace. She spent 7+ years working as a Marketing Coordinator/Manager and can’t wait to incorporate those skills--along with what she learns firsthand from her father--when she takes over the family business.

Michael served and retired from the United States Army, after 20 years. After retirement, he spent 5 years working as a government contractor for various companies. Michael brings many years of leadership experience, ranging from operations, communication strategy, security, and executive leadership. Michael began working with his father-in-law in 2018 and has enjoyed working alongside his family to help this company grow.

Addyson is the granddaughter of founder, Mike Weeks. Although she is only in the fourth grade, she loves to be a part of the Southern City Flavors’ decisions! She loves helping her “G-Daddy” and sister work the booths at Christmas Village handing out samples and having fun while doing it! She is a great worker and brings laughter to our busy seasons.
